BARBARA CATE
is a self-taught watercolor artist living in Santa FE, New Mexico. She teaches art to children and is the illustrator of one children's book. The Chinese Character paintings are her most recent works, from which we've created the 'Signs of Life' line.
"My watercolors reflect many things -
myths, legends, journeys to other cultures and the personification of nature. I like the viewer to 'step inside' the art work and experience a world both beautiful and a little mysterious."
